Chad Brown
Creative Director / Designer / Photographer

It's not often that someone gets to combine two passions into one livelihood, but that's exactly what Chad Brown of Chado Advertising & Design has managed to do. Putting his love of art and design together with an abiding love for the outdoors, Chad carved a niche creating marketing campaigns for the outdoor industry when he forged Presher Design in New York City.

With his new Portland-based firm, Chado Designs, Chad is taking on a wider range of clients but still holds to his motto of "Think Outside," both in work and in play. Whether scaling mountains in Africa or Antarctica, or fly-fishing near his home base of Portland, the native Texan has never lost touch with the knowledge that marketing is reaching out to real people with real lives, real passions, and real feelings.

Chad Brown holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from American Intercontinental University of Atlanta Georgia and a Masters of Science in Communication Design from Pratt Institute of Manhattan New York City. Chad Brown is also an former member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA Group MAIP Alumni)

Sanders Anderson
Senior Designer

Sanders wore the hat of visual brand strategist for Gregory Mountain Products; a 63 Million dollar company that makes authentic outdoor backpacks for hardcore enthusiast. Sanders spearheaded creative development for advertising, consumer catalogs, and point of sales collateral. His work put a positive halo over the product and introduced a compelling and integrated brand presence in the retail environment. Before Gregory Sanders was a Designer for The Moderns in New York City; a creative think tank in Manhattan's Flatiron District. He provided integrated solutions for both print and on-line media and was actively involved in managing projects for identity systems, print collateral, and coordinating on site photo shoots.

In addition, his branding experience has included assignments for Telscape Communications, Goss Engineering Inc., Salsa Diva Productions, Kodokai Aikido International, Baja Designs, Technetwest, The Counterpoint Philharmonic, and the Metropolitan Transit Authority of New York City. Sanders graduated from Pratt Institute of Art and Design with a Master of Science degree in Communications Design. He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the California State University of Long Beach. While pursuing his B.F.A., he studied at the Instituto de Allende, an historical arts academy in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Michael Gross
Associate

Michael is a recent graduate from Oregon State University with a BA in marketing and advertising. He also studied new media communication, sociology, and web design. While attending school he had the opportunity to hone his skills and work on multiple marketing and promotions projects including work in social media marketing, guerilla marketing, event coordinating, branding, and design for a variety of businesses and non-profits. He also worked for the student ran television station KBVR working in promotions/PR and behind the camera filming a live music show. After moving back to Portland with understanding and experience utilizing traditional and non-traditional methods to convey brand messages Michael started working with Chado Advertising & Design to add a fresh perspective with the use of new media for visual communication.

When he is not busy taking on different roles at Chado, Michael enjoys riding various types of boards, music, film, and hiking the Columbia Gorge
